but I won 2nd place in my age division-female in the PPD 5K this morning. My friend Kara won 1st place in this division-woo-hoo Kara! and Amy won 3rd overall female. We ladies kicked butt! You go! I am waaaayyy impressed. The Sweet Pea Family did the Abercrombie and Fitch Challenge (my cousin roped us into doing it as she organized it) and we looked way lame next to all the models and other participants. Sadly, I couldn't even run the whole 5k, although we did have the kids in a double jogger...that's my excuse. Yeah, it was the kids, not my not-quite-back-in-shape-body.
Congrats on the victory! And good luck on the half marathon. The Cherry Blossom 10-miler is a lot of fun up here in DC...it's in April. Any interest?
I would love to run that race....hmmmm, maybe a trip up there is in my future!
