camping out....for school enrollment

That's right folks! Harrison's school (he's in 3K this year) is having registration for next school year tomorrow morning beginning at 7 a.m. Next year he'll be in 4K which is part of the big school (a private, Catholic school). This also means that in order to get your place in line you have to be there extra early. So....my friend and I are getting up and I'm swinging by her place at 5 a.m. (she's going to have a to-go cup of coffee waiting for me :) and going to get our place in line. Oh, the things we do for our children!

There are so few preschools out in this area that it's crazy like that, too. One school tried to discourage camping out by instituting a "take a number" process (like at the deli counter). Well, the parents started camping out for THAT! Crazy!

I can't believe you have to register for next year before he's even started school for this year! I got out of the whole camping out thing - my mom did it for me. Love you, Mom.
