OK, I'm just venting here...so just a warning. Whenever the boys and I or the whole family go anywhere in public we get a lot of stares, comments, compliments, etc. People think just because you have twins you need a comment. And I know that some people are just curious or trying to be nice. I'm not talking about these people. It's funny how no one really looks at the twins as individual babies right now...when they see them usually the first thing people say is "Wow, they are so cute...my, you must have your hands full!" It's the "hands full" comment that really gets me. Really? Duh? Do you think? What makes a stranger think they can tell me that? It's just starting to get old...because I hear it 15,000 times a day...
See, I told you....nothing to exciting to post today. Brady and Jack have developed a separation anxiety and a little jealousy when I'm holding one and not the other. Maybe if I had octopus arms I could hold all three boys...now wouldn't that be nice?
Otherwise, just a typical day at home. I must have a lot of time on my hands (boys are napping, I should be cleaning) but instead I'm researching training for a marathon and Paula Deen recipes...now that makes a whole lot of sense, doesn't it?

Just a little warning, but stupid twin comments *never* stop. My mom would have people ask her, "Which one is the smart one and which one is the pretty one?" while Kiki and I would be standing right there!!!!
And the questions that Kiki and I would get about being twins, are just as annoying. Our all time favorite was "Are you telepathetic?"
Paula Deen and Marathons...perfect combo. I ran the Portland Marathon in 2001. It's a great feeling but the training is sooo intense and time consuming. Maybe I'll do one when the boys are grown.
I have a great marathon training book- I will email you the info and the schedule. It is written about a class offered at a University- hundreds of people have taken it and only one person did not finish the marathon after 16 weeks of training- some of the people had cancer, disabilities, were very overweight, and some had never run. It is a great book!
I work with identical twins and a set of triplets. I try really hard not to make any multiple comments to them or their mother. The triplets are two girl and a boy and I do like teasing him about being the only male. He just sighs and rolls his eyes. Cracks me up.
And I agree that marathons and Paula are a great combo. You'd be a mess with just one or the other.
Well there's no way you can train for a marathon without a little Paula Deen reward for every goal you meet, right?
I was friends with twins in high school. Even then, they got all of the twin questions. I bet you must get tired of people gawking. Just think, when they grow up they can answer for themselves and give you a break!
Thanks for the insight! I guess it should be pretty obvious.
On another note, I only like to exercise so that I can eat the Paula Deen recipes!
