Last night was our first official Supper Club-it was so much fun! I must admit I love girl time and it was definitely much needed...Last night the hostess served a breaded chicken breast with a mushroom and apricot glaze-it was delicious. Everyone else provided appetizers, sides, dessert and beverages. There are 12 of us in the group, so each person hosts once a year. How nice is that? The food and conversation were wonderful, too. This supper club is women only, but I know that Dan would love for us to start up a couples one like we had in VA-I miss it so much!!!
Next month I'm hosting Supper Club and am contemplating a Fig and Blue-Cheese stuffed pork tenderloin...along with Merry Margaritas (from Southern Living Nov 2004) or Peppermint Martinis-I can taste it already!

I soooooooooooooo need something like that in my life!
I miss our Supper Club Lee! R and I were talking about it the other night. I guess with him in b school full time and working part-time, *any* free time is just good for hanging out. But girls or couples, it sounds so nice right about now.
That's it. After the New Year, I am starting one up!
Sigh. I could use some girl time about now.
Me three. We've invited neighbors over for dinner, but not a real Supper Club. Brian's getting antsy to cook massive quantities of meat. Barely talked him out of making a run to Costco for ribs for the four of us last weekend.
And now I'm torn between the caramel appletinis and Merry Margaritas for Thanksgiving cocktails.
I'm going to make those Merry Margaritas at my cookie exchange. Thanks for sharing.
I love Supper Club. We no longer have it, however I do have Bunko. Oh yeah, sorry about Clemson losing to BC. I truly thought Clemson deserved to win....Oh crap, delete this post before Hubby tracks it down and kicks me out the house. 5 more days......Clemson/Carolina.... prediction??
