Excerpt from Anna Quindlen's A Short Guide to a Happy Life: "...Life is made of moments, small pieces of silver amidst long stretches of tedium. It would be wonderful if they came to us unsummoned, but particularly in lives as busy as the ones most of us lead now, that won't happen. We have to teach ourselves now to live, really live...to love the journey, not the destination."
Today I am grateful for my health. I ran 3 miles this morning and could have gone more...I am grateful that I try to take good care of myself to be a good role model for my children. That's it...short and sweet!

I couldn't run 3 miles right now if someone was chasing me. I have come to terms with the fact that I am not much of a runner, more of a walker.
You rock--revel in your accomplishment and that you have done it all with the family juggle to boot!
I tagged you on my site!
Uh...did you already run out of things to be grateful for on Day 2??? I don't see a post for yesterday!
