Monkey see, monkey do

The other day I was lacing up my running shoes because I was taking the boys to the park. Harrison leans down where I am sitting on the floor and says "You going for a run, mommy?" I said, "No, we are going to the park". He then says, "When I get big I will run just like you". It made my day! That has to be the greatest gift-the gift of health and exericise!!

Agreed!!! There is nothing better then when William wants to wear a race number and run around the house!! Got to love the positive influence!

My "related" story was when E was giving her Kiki a walking tour of the upstairs while talking on the phone. She walked into our room and said, "And there's the elliptical trainer where daddy works out." Kiki said, "Just daddy works out?" to which she replied, "Yep, just him. Not mommy!"

Of course, even when my lovely 18-month decides to sleep through so I can get up at 5:30 am to work out...I'm showered and dressed by the time they see me!

Rachel usually wakes up half way through my yoga routine and joins me. She's getting pretty good and upward and downward facing dog. Gonna have to buy her a mat though. My balance is already bad and when I don't have that slipproof padding, I'm sunk.
