I'm taking the plunge...

Well, I've decided to sell my baby stuff at our MOMS Club this consignment sale next month. I can't believe my *baby* years are officially over. I know my boys are technically still babies, but no more bottles, infant car seats, swings, bouncy seats, exersaucers, etc. I really can't believe it's over. A couple of months ago I had urges for having a 4th, but honestly, with 3 my cup overflows with blessings. I feel like I have won the lottery 3 times, why jinx it? I am also enjoying my new "old" body again. For 5 years of my life, my body was not my own and it feels good to be mine again. I know I may shed a tear when I see someone buy one of my baby items, but at the same time when I look at my boys I have tears of happiness that my 3 miracle babies are here with me now!

You considered a fourth!?!?!? Dear lord!

It's funny, because I'm definitely starting to feel done at 2. But I can't seem to part with the baby stuff. Though, I tell myself I can hand it down to my sister or be the coolest Aunt ever when nieces or nephews come to town.

Of course, if you end up with a fourth after selling your stuff, you can always get all new stuff. Any reason to shop...right?

Woohoo! I would totally do it, but we are leaving to go out of town that day...

Keep one maternity and one baby item. I have heard story after story after story of women selling all their stuff and then finding out they are pregnant. This happened to my cousin. Then, my friend Carrie sold *everything* when she moved back to Ohio because they were done. Finished. Her two are almost 8 years old and 5. She just found out she is expecting.

It will be sad to see that stuff go, but just imagine the things you'll have coming!!! Lots of fun phases and toys, especially with three boys. And just think....no more waking multiple times every night for months on end. Soon enough you'll potty train the boys and I bet you won't miss those diapers!!

I only have one and I've already gotten rid of a lot of our things! We're keeping the crib and dresser forever probably and I do have some of his clothes that I just loved, but most of it's already gone.

I know, I'll kick myself if we do have another one.

I will be the same way when I part with my baby things. I say keep a few things too. Many years down the road you will be so glad you did!

We were just discussing this. We got rid of the car seats and strollers before we moved, but we need to sell the crib, changing table, and book case. I'm not sure I'm ready to sell the rocking chair though - too may good memories. I am definitely not a pack rat, but I will be keeping my bassinet FOREVER! Hey, my kids are sleeping in my old crib at my parents' house. It could happen for my grandkids.
